Fruit Smoothie

Smoothies are a great way to use up overripe fruit and an easy way to have breakfast on the run. In 90 seconds, you can have breakfast ready for the crew. Add protein, avocado, nut butters for added punch and seeds and powders for extra bang. Add whatever you have and drink it for fabulous morning fuel.

  • 2 frozen overripe bananas or 1 1/2 cups of frozen fruit of your choice
  • 1 1/2 cups almond milk milk or soy milk
  • 1/3 cup plain yogurt whole milk or fat free or dairy-free
  • 1/3 cup aloe vera gel
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey optional
  • 2-3  cubes of ice


  1. Toss everything in the blender and puree until creamy.
  2. Pour into two glasses and share with a friend, spouse, partner or the kids.
